Description
This Westinghouse 6DJ8 / ECC88 tube was made
in Hungary. It has the following
characteristics:

creases on the top of the bottle

dimpled disc getter with A-frame support

silver risers

yellow label with Westinghouse logo

Ei factory code etched along the bottom of the glass
Testing
Tube tests as new. It has been screened for gas, heater-cathode
leakage, shorts, and excessive noise and microphonics. It was tested
at typical operating voltages on a laboratory grade Amplitrex AT1000

Noise and microphonics
This tube tests as “phono grade”—the quietest range for
noise and microphonics—on our custom noise testing equipment. It is an
excellent choice for phono stages, microphone preamps, DA converters, and other sensitive applications.
