The military spec Russian 6N1P (6Н1П in Cyrillic script) tubes in this precisely matched pair are low distortion dual triode tubes used in hi-fi amplifiers. They have dish getters and gray plates. The gold print on the glass has the Voskhod "rocket" logo (partial).

The 6N1P is similar to 6DJ8, ECC88 and 6922 tube types, and the Chinese 6N1 tube. However, due to its higher heater current, the 6N1P is not a direct substitute for these tube types. Check with your equipment manufacturer before using this tube as a sub for these types.

Both tubes test as new with balanced sections. They are matched for both current draw (mA) and transconductance (Gm) on each triode section. These tubes are screened for gas, heater-cathode leakage, shorts, and excessive noise and microphonics. They are tested at typical operating voltages on a laboratory grade Amplitrex AT1000.
