Description
This 1962 Mullard 7025 is a low noise 12AX7 / ECC83 tube type. It has short gray plates with copper grid posts and a halo getter (I61 series).
The red print on the glass has the Webcor logo and reads "Made in Great Britain."
Testing
This tube
tests as new with balanced sections. It has been screened for gas,
heater-cathode leakage, shorts, and excessive noise and microphonics on each triode section.
It was tested at typical operating voltages on a laboratory grade
Amplitrex AT1000 (manual setting, fixed bias mode). Learn more about our
testing process here.
Noise and microphonics
This
tube tests as “phono grade”—the quietest range for noise and
microphonics—on our custom noise testing equipment. It is an excellent
choice for sensitive applications such as microphone preamps, V1 position in guitar amps, DA
converters, and phono stages.
Pricing
This
tube is sold individually. It ships in a new white box with test
results for current draw (mA) and transconductance (Gm) for each triode
section.
