Description
This 1970s Matsushita 12AX7 / ECC83 tube was made in Japan. It has Mullard style short gray plates and a halo getter. The white print on the glass has the Matsushita logo. These are excellent quality vintage 12AX7 tubes at an affordable price.
Testing
This tube tests as new. It has been screened for gas, heater-cathode leakage, shorts, and excessive noise and microphonics on each triode section.
It was tested at typical operating voltages on a laboratory grade

This tube tests as “phono grade”—the quietest range for noise and microphonics—on our custom noise testing equipment. It is
an excellent choice for sensitive applications such as microphone
