The 1960s GE 5881 power tubes in this precisely matched pair are 6L6GB type tubes. They have gray plates, side getters, and brown bases. The white print on the glass has the GE logo and matching date codes ("CZ"). "Made in Canada 5881" is etched in the glass.
Both tubes test as new and are matched for both current draw (57.8 mA & 60.4 mA) and transconductance (96% & 96% Gm). They ship in their original boxes with test results for each tube.
These tubes are sold as a matched pair. Photo is of the actual pair.
NOTE: Due to their slightly lower power rating, 5881 tubes are not an exact substitute for KT66, 7581, or 6L6GC tube types. |
The 1962 RCA 6L6GC power tubes in this matched pair have black plates and side O getters. The red print on the base has the RCA logo. They are matched for current draw (48.2 & 48.8 mA) transconductance (4800 & 4900 Gm).
